Tuesdays With Morrie

This is one of the best books I've every written. It is not the plot but the life lessons one can learn that makes this book so valuable. It is a book with a powerful theme. The meaning of life something we should all be very intrested in. My favorite part of the book is when Morrie explains to Mitch about the importance of serving others. I can definatly relate. I feel happiest when I can serve or help others without getting anything in return. This really gives you a feeling of love and satisfaction. Perhaps the most important lesson I've learned from Morrie is to love. I finally relized that being loving is the key to feeling happy and content with yourself! Thanks Morrie for the valuable lesson.

The World As I See It

I see the universe as it is. Infinate. Infinatly small and infinatly large. People made up of billions of cells and galaxys made up of billions of stars. The earth our home is a cell in an unknown body. It is our job that we make sure we are not a cancer to the earth. But I also see ignorance. Ignorance to the truth. We are all one. But mankind sees themselves as separate from nature and this has caused global warming. So see the Earth as I do. See the Earth as a reflection of you. Treat it as you would yourself. Treat it with kindness and love. The Earth has its rainy days and its sunny days. We have sad days and good days. We need this planet and our planet needs us. Jesus tells us to treat others as we would like to be treated. We must recognize that we are one with the universe. What we release to the universe is what you get in return. Buddist call this karma. So don't kill the Earth, your killing yourself.

Success Success Success

According to Loth in her essay she tells us success is really hard to define for everyone. This is because we all have different definitions and beliefs about success. Loth definatly made me question my definition of success. I'm more unsure about success than ever, but I've learned one thing. We all want to be happy! So I know now forsure that my definition of success must include being happy. Now how do I go about doing this? I'm unsure of that as well. But I do know in order to feel happy we should live more in the moment and stop day dreaming or thinking about your problems. I must also learn to become a more loving, caring, and respectful person.
