My multi-media post is about social media and the effects it has on masses of people. Ever wonder why people especially the younger generations think of fun as partying, drugs, and sex? It's because of the social conditioning people with power have done to us. 1% of people in this counrty earn than 50% of the wealth thats being earned every year. They have control over the news thats being reported, what's on tv, and even the music we listen to. We might find it hard to believe but the music and tv we watch is slowly conditioning us to think the way they want us to think. Why is it that shows like The Jersey Shore are even played on MTV?! I mean last time I checked it stood for music television. Hmmm and I wonder who in thier right mind would watch that? Lesson of the day, think about what you are putting into your brain.

Some Giver Thoughts

Jonas' society seems very organized and strict. I still find it crazy how twelve year olds are expected to work. I believe they are still too young and have more to learn more before they are assigned.

Is the Internet Changing Our Lives?

I believe the Internet is definitely changing lives! Like anything it has its good and bad sides. It will depend on the individual using the Internet. But specifically relating to facebook I think the majority of young people's lives are changing for the bad. I believe the youth is being exposed to too many bad messages. Whether its though music or status posts. Many middle school and high school kids don't have the ability to critical think effectively and therefore easily influenced to live in certain ways or believes things that are not for their best interest... Thats just my opinion i'd like to hear other peoples thoughts on this.
